I’m 18 and I see this world completely with a different side-view. I have my own personal beliefs, stand-points and views that are often different from this world. But, being different is not bad. It’s beautiful and awesome. Being different from the rest of the crowd gives you an edge and offers you the best competitive advantage to tackle life problems.
So, without any further ado, let’s get started with some of my best perspectives on life, career, happiness and growth.
Value your time alone
You must talk with yourself for at least 30 mins everyday. This allows you to build a better perspective for your lifestyle - what you’re doing right and what you’re committing wrong.
Go on for more walks than you usually do. Talk with yourself more, act more, decide more and spend time doing anything with yourself but don’t sit idle.
"All of humanity's problems stem from man's inability to sit quietly in a room alone." — Blaise Pascal
So, value your time alone and besides giving time to other people, you should value time more often for yourself too. This will definitely bring change to your life.
Don’t take anything anyone says personally
Don't mind everything that people say to you and don’t take it personally.
People are going through their own sh*t too. You never know. It's not their intention to put you down.
In the end, what you think about yourself matters most.
So, value your opinion and live life to the fullest.
Find yourself in a group of positive-sum people
Eliminate all the negative people and their ill-words that’ll put you down and surround yourself with positive and great people to get valuable learning about life.
This will definitely give you an ultimate edge over your life to win the greatest life battles.
Stick yourself around with a highly- optimistic and great community, creators and leaders to grasp the learning and valuable principles from them.
. Impatient with the actions, patient with the results
“The perfect time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, but the second perfect time is to plant the seed right now!”
Don’t procrastinate and delay anything that's too important. Instead you should start acting on it right now.
Believe in committing and doing anything that’s urgent and important and be patient for the long-run results as it will bear the sweetest fruit.
If you have an idea(s), then don’t wait for that motivation cycle to push you to do anything. Motivation without action is a waste because action comes first and then the results drive those motivation inside you to do something more. So, don’t sit back but do something right now.
Future is unpredictable
It’s true that the future is unpredictable but we all can take clues from it.
It all requires an undeniable arrow of progress so that it may hit the target. Be at present, don’t dwell on the past and try to take clues for the future.
If you’d told me 2 years ago, that I would be nothing, at present, then you must be wrong. The truth is that everything will change in the future. Try to reflect the projections from the future on what will be advancements that will emerge as a creator in near future. Try working on it.
Don’t rely on motivation
If you continue to rely on the motivation cycle and think that motivation will help you to get the sh*t done, then you’re wrong.
Focus on action instead. Action comes first and then motivation drives into it. When you start achieving results, you become more motivated to do those tasks and become more inclined on consistency.
So, try to build habits and take actions accordingly. This will make you succeed, not motivation.
Do smart work
Don’t always do hard work as it will make you tired. Try to add some smart work to it also.
IF you continue to do hard work, then you’ll get tired most often. So stop working like a cow - who grazes all grass the whole day. Instead work like a lion -
-sprint when inspired
-eat/relax
-then repeat the process.
